The most profound transformations often begin long before we recognize them. While I once believed my journey to empowerment started in January 2020, deeper reflection revealed that its roots were planted in April 2019.
That day, at my brother's house, celebrating my aunt and uncle’s golden wedding anniversary, I was surrounded by love and laughter—yet I felt weighed down. Not just by the physical weight I carried, but by the burden of self-doubt, neglect, and a deep yearning for change. Amidst the celebration, I made a quiet but powerful resolution: to reclaim my health, my confidence, and my sense of self.
Nine months later, in January 2020, I took my first step. I walked into a gym and committed to transformation, calling it The Year of Parma. What began as a fitness journey soon evolved into something far greater. With the guidance of a trainer who emphasized the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional well-being, I realized this wasn’t just about exercise—it was about healing, empowerment, and rediscovering my own strength.
As I embraced the journey, I wasn’t just shedding weight—I was shedding limiting beliefs, unlearning societal conditioning, and stepping into my true power. This awakening ignited something within me: a deep desire to help other women break free from self-imposed limitations and reclaim their independence.
By October 2020, I took the leap from student to mentor. Today, as the founder of Mindful Health SC, a Jay Shetty Certified Life Coach, and a Precision Nutrition Coach, my mission is clear: to create a space where women can become strong, independent, and unstoppable. Mindful Health SC isn’t just about fitness—it’s about holistic well-being, financial freedom, career growth, relationships, and activism. It’s about giving women the tools to build lives of confidence, purpose, and autonomy.
